Morning tour: 10:30am start Tour Length: 3 hours In this tour we start in Wong Chuk Hang, a previously industrial area now going under significant gentrification. From there we take a short ride to the beating heart of HK's seafood scene by visiting the wholesale fish market, the place that supplies all the other various markets around the city. From there, we hop on the shortest sampan boat ride over to Ap Lei Chau wet market, where we will visit some market stores and purchase some fresh seafood. It's a tough escalator ride upstairs to one of the seafood establishments that cook our freshly purchased goods to enjoy in traditional cooking methods. Tour includes all food and unlimited beverages (including beer!) Itinerary: 1. Meet at Wong Chuk Hang MTR, introduction to area before heading over to Aberdeen Fish Market (30 minutes) 2. Explore Aberdeen Wholesale Fish market, understand more about how seafood is procured and sold in HK (30 minutes) 3. Catch the sampan across to Ap Lei Chau (10 minutes) 4. Shop at Ap Lei Chau market for our own lunch! (20 minutes) 5. Enjoy a lovely seafood lunch at one of the renowned establishments in the cooked food centre (90 minutes) Dishes include: abalone, prawns, fish, clams, crab/lobster, fried noodles & vegetables.
